Cookies and similar techniques

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use localStorage, which works similarly. Necessary cookies are always placed, because the website does not work without them. Everything else is placed only after you have given permission.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the Cookie preferences button at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing is exactly as easy as giving. We keep your choice for one year, after which we ask again.

For Google Analytics, advertising features and Google Signals are switched off, and the statistics are not used for advertising or profiling. Google's code is not requested until after you have given consent, not before.

Who do we share data with?

We use service providers that process data on our behalf, and we have data processing agreements in place with them. We never sell your data.

  • Hostinger — hosting of the website and the content management system
  • Cloudflare — delivery, security and acceleration of the website
  • Brevo (Sendinblue) — sending the emails generated by our forms
  • Google Ireland Limited — Google Analytics and Google Maps, only after your consent

With Google and Cloudflare, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. This happens on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long do we keep your data?

We do not keep data longer than necessary for the purpose we received it for. Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to handle your question and any follow-up. Membership application data is kept for the duration of the membership and afterwards for as long as statutory retention obligations require, for example for our accounts. Google Analytics statistics are kept for a maximum of 14 months.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.

  • Access to the data we hold about you
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure of your data
  • Restriction of processing
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Transfer of your data to you or another party
  • Withdrawal of your consent, at any time

Not happy with how we handle your data? You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Security

The website is fully secured with HTTPS and we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Noticed something that does not look right? Let us know at [email protected].

Changes

We may update this statement, for example when we start using a new service. The date at the top of this page shows when we last changed it. If we change the cookie categories, we will ask you for a new choice.

Cookie preferences

Choose what you allow per category. Necessary cookies are always on, because the website does not work without them. We keep your choice in your own browser for one year.
